Based on a mature technology, the wheel web iscoated with a waterborne coating which is 4~6mm thick uniformly. The damping material can absorb the vibration energy from the wheel web,thus decrease the vibration and sound radiation of the wheel.
The damping wheel has good shape. Damping material can remain good and permanent viscosity with the wheel web, is non-toxic and tasteless, heavy metal free and does not contain non-environmentally-friendlymaterial, meeting the DIN5510 – 2:2009 standards, flammability classification S-4, smoke generated grading SR-2, dripping generate hierarchical ST–2. The wheel could efficiently reduce noise level and has the advantage of convenient operation so it can be widely used in decreasing vibration and noise of the railway.
Mainly applied in decreasing vibration and noise of rail transit vehicles such as regular trains, high-speed trains, subway vehicles, light rails,etc.
1.According to the laboratory test results, the noise reduction is 6.2 dB(A)at the radial excitation and 5.1 dB(A) at the axle excitation for the low-noise sprayed damping wheels.
